2024 INFORMS Recap

To conclude the 2024 fall semester SCOPE was invited to attend the 2024 INFORMS UPS George D. Smith Prize being awarded to the University of South Carolina Management Science Department. Gartner Research ranked the supply chain program third best and our graduate ranking fifth best in North America. This is a great honor for our University and SCOPE due to INFORMS being the largest association in Operations Research, Analytics, AI, and Data Science. The award recognizes the ability to prepare students for operations research and analytics. SCOPE was given the opportunity to attend and help conduct this event working with our alumni, industry managers, and faculty and staff. We also got the chance to listen to the USC Provost, INFORMS and UPS Leadership, and various CEOs.
